Unlock PDF

Remove a password you know from a PDF.

Processed on our server over TLS — deleted right after conversion

Remove a password from a PDF you own — a bank statement, a payslip, an insurance letter — so it opens without the ritual every time. You need to know the current password; this is not a cracking tool.

The server decrypts the file with the password you provide, hands you an unlocked copy and deletes everything immediately.

How it works

1

Drop the locked PDF and enter its password.

2

The server removes the encryption.

3

Download the unlocked copy.

Why this tool

For files you own

Works when you know the password — perfect for statements that arrive locked every month.

Clean unlocked copy

The output is a normal PDF: no password prompt, printable, mergeable with other files.

Deleted right after

Locked file, password and result exist on the server only during the operation.

Frequently asked questions

Can you unlock a PDF without the password?

No. This tool removes protection using the correct password; it does not and will not crack unknown ones.

Why unlock a statement I can already open?

To merge it, compress it or upload it to accounting software — most tools can’t process encrypted PDFs.

Is my password stored?

No — it is used once, in memory, to perform the decryption, then discarded.

The password is correct but unlocking fails — why?

A few PDFs use non-standard protection. If the standard engine can’t decrypt it, you’ll see an honest error rather than a broken file.
