Terms of service

The service
PDFTray provides free document tools (in-browser and server-side) and paid converters that consume prepaid page credits. We may add, change or retire tools; we won’t retroactively take away credits you bought.
Credits
Paid converters charge 1 credit per processed page. Credits never expire. If a conversion produces no usable result, no credits are charged. Purchased credits are refundable within 14 days for the unused part — write to info@pdftray.com.
Acceptable use
Process only documents you have the right to process. Don’t use the tools to break the law, to circumvent document protections you’re not authorised to remove, or to overload the service with automated traffic beyond the published limits.
No warranty — verify important output
Conversion and extraction are best-effort. The statements converter cross-checks totals and tells you when they don’t reconcile — but you remain responsible for verifying financial and legal documents before relying on them. The service is provided “as is”; our total liability is capped at the amount you paid us in the last 12 months.
Accounts
You’re responsible for your account credentials. We may suspend accounts that abuse the service; unused paid credits are refunded in that case unless the abuse was fraud.
Changes
We may update these terms; material changes will be announced on this page with a new date. Continuing to use the service means you accept the updated terms.
