Your files
Browser tools (marked “runs in your browser”): your file is opened and processed on your device. It is never transmitted to us. You can verify this by switching off the internet — the tool keeps working.
Server tools (compression, office conversion, OCR, passwords, repair, PDF/A, the statements converter): your file is uploaded over TLS, processed in temporary storage and deleted immediately after the result is delivered. We keep no copies, no previews and no content logs. Files are never used to train anything.
Your account
If you create an account we store: your e-mail, a salted hash of your password (or your Google account ID if you sign in with Google), your credit balance and a ledger of credit movements. That’s the whole profile.
Payments
Card and crypto payments are processed by our payment providers; card numbers never touch our servers. We store the order reference, the pack you bought and the amount — enough to credit your account and answer disputes.
Cookies and analytics
We set one cookie: your login session. No advertising trackers, no third-party analytics scripts, no fingerprinting.
We send mail for password resets and account notices. No newsletters.
Your rights
Write to info@pdftray.com from your account e-mail to get a copy of your data or to delete the account entirely. Deletion removes the profile, balance and ledger; it is not reversible.
