PDF in Word
Editierbares DOCX aus einem textbasierten PDF.
Turn a text-based PDF into an editable Word document (DOCX) — to reuse a contract template, fix a typo, or continue writing where the PDF left off.
Honest expectations: PDF was never designed to be edited, so complex layouts land in Word as positioned text blocks. Clean text documents convert well; heavily designed pages are better recreated. Scanned PDFs need OCR first — we have a tool for that too.

Häufig gestellte Fragen
Why does my converted file have text boxes?
PDF stores text as positioned fragments, not paragraphs. Where the engine cannot reliably reflow them, it preserves position with text frames — that keeps the layout at the cost of flow. Simple documents reflow cleanly.
My scan converted to an empty document — why?
A scan is a photo without a text layer. Run it through our OCR PDF tool first, then convert the OCRed file to Word.
Are images kept?
Yes, embedded images are carried into the DOCX at their positions.
Is this as good as Adobe’s converter?
For clean text documents — comparable. For complex magazine-style layouts Adobe’s heuristics are still ahead; we are honest about that, and we are free.
